Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CueMarshal (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License to Use the App

Beacon Light Investments grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use CueMarshal on devices you own or control, for your own personal or professional stage-management use, subject to the App Store's or Google Play's applicable usage rules.

3. Your Content

Everything you enter into CueMarshal — shows, cues, roles, notes, and run history — is yours. It's stored locally on your device. We do not access, host, or claim any ownership over your content. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

CueMarshal offers a free tier (limited to 1 active show and up to 2 cues per show) and an optional "CueMarshal Pro" auto-renewing subscription, available monthly or annually, which removes those limits and unlocks Role assignment, Pre-show Check, full History and Compare Rehearsals, and PDF export.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. All purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds are governed entirely by the App Store's or Google Play's own refund policies — Beacon Light Investments does not process payments or refunds directly.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except as permitted by law, and not to use the App for any unlawful purpose.

6. Professional Use Disclaimer

CueMarshal is a calling and timing aid for live shows. It does not replace attentive show calling, adequate rehearsal, communication with your production team, or your venue's own safety protocols. You are solely responsible for the conduct and safety of any show you call using the App.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beacon Light Investments shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including any loss of data stored on your device or any disruption to a live performance.

9. Changes to the App or These Terms

We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. If these Terms change materially, the "Effective date" above will be updated. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. Canceling your CueMarshal Pro subscription does not automatically delete data already stored locally on your device; use "Delete All My Data" in Settings to remove it.
